Essentia Udaipur Luxury Resort & Spa

The hotel was newly built and that was the only good thing.

There were not any good indoor games as mentioned in the property details.It is a kind of hotel only not a resort.

Shoutout to Anuj, Chotu and Mayank for taking care of us. The hotel and facilities are quite new - so really enjoyed our stay. The buffet breakfast had plenty of options with menu items from both Indian and western cuisines. We also tried A la carte dinner and it was great - chicken Bhujma was my favourite. The hotel location is fair bit away from the city - so if you like the tranquillity of nature with peace and quite the location might appease you.

The location - it's a minimum 30-40 minutes drive to any attraction within the city. Getting Uber for pick-up and drop-off can be a bit of a challenge. Also, the hotel doe not yet have license to serve alcohol - which was a bit of a downer. The pool is outdoors and is not heated, also the facilities around the pool are not yet operational. Its a nice hotel but does have the resort vibe to it.

Cleanliness, Property, Room size, food taste

Delayed check-in, no proper welcome, empty fridge in room, slippers and bathrobe not available in room, very limited outside seating, no bar, limited food menu, inside can be made a more beautiful lot of empty space with only brick and stone.

The resort has a nice pool and the rooms are a decent size.

The resort is still under construction and the staff gave us rooms in the building which is not yet complete, the floor was broken and the toilet had poop on it. After talking to management for an hour was i able to make them change my room which killed the vibe for my vacation.

Everything was so so good here, from staff, location and food was the ice on cake.

The room was large with a good bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The view was great! I was very comfortable. Also the tariff was quite reasonable. The food was good

Location was interior,, and food wise not liked the quality, and bit costly... specially less options for veg ppl... Have to go outside for dinner everyday. And main city was far away from the hotel..

Nicely made property but unfortunately there is no BAR facility available yet and no SPA either , only the pool is there . Plus the property is about half hour away from Udaipur which makes access a bit time consuming

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome—they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was absolutely amazing, with a variety of delicious options that left me wanting more. The entire property was spotless, with beautifully maintained rooms and common areas.

I genuinely felt sad when my short stay came to an end—I wish I could have stayed longer to soak in the peaceful atmosphere and warm hospitality. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Location wise it’s a bit far from the city. Around 30 min away from the city centre

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights to rest from the hustle and bustle, enjoyed a lovely day by the beautiful pool, all the facilities were lovely and dined on delicious meals, lots of staff who are happy to help, would definitely stay here again

Name of resort says Spa but there isn't one

Amazing rooms. 5 star standard, lovely food, amazing swimming pool. Big size rooms. Very comfortable. Will definitely recommend going forward.

The staff was very helpful even when I had a emergency they where quick to help and they willingly to help all the time and any time

They should add more to the non veg menu

The property was clean, elegant, positive and the stay was great. Staff was polite and efficient. Food at the restaurant tasted very good. Breakfast buffet had a good spread.

The location was away from the city which made it a little difficult to commute.

The hotel the staff everything is outstanding

The location is the worst part of you want to visit places is far away from here but all the resorts are outside udaipur so cannot do anything but if any couple want to stay you should stay near the city

Premium rooms are spacious

The dinner in their restaurant buffet was below average and only one option was there in non-veg… and Ala carte is way expensive and tasteless

Room size

Spa and Massage service is not operational. Outdoor Bar is not operational.Staff is Not trained appropriately. We had to call multiple times for requests to our room and had to wait long periods of time before the requests were met with. Did not provide us with appropriate number of towel sets to start with . No information was given in regards to where the breakfast would be served. We had to ask them for it. In room dining service is hit and miss. Delivered food on time on first order and then second order was delivered almost 1 hour later after we place the order.Did not have coffees made to order unlike other 5 stars.Power is an issue as the electriciity to the property kept going off and on frequently during our stay. The hotel staff will not inform you about this on check-in , so if you are travelling with a kid or a child , please ask them not to panic when they are using bathrooms and the power goes off as it may be completely dark.Room size for Premium Rooms with Balcony is good.Overall, just an average place to stay, not a multi star hotel or even a multi star service as advertised.
